7 Weird Laws that you may not know about North Korea

Here are some pretty strange and weird laws about North Korea that'll make you glad you are living outside North Korea.Kim Jong-Un was officially declared the supreme leader following the state funeral of his father on 28 December 2011.The supreme leader is exempted from these laws to be followed.

 1.THE HAIRCUTS

There are only 28 approved haircuts by the government out if which 10 are for men and 18 for women. No other hairstyles are allowed  for the people in North Korea. The supreme leader is exempted from this and nobody has the same hairstyle as the supreme leader.

2.THE CAPITAL RESIDENCE

People need a government permission to reside in the North Korean capital, Pyongyang. Mostly 
rich and loyal officials are permitted to stay in the capital. Serious punishments are given for unauthorized residence in the capital.

3.THE ELECTION

 As a democratic country, Korea has its elections but the supreme leader is the only candidate in the elections. So the elections really do not make any sense.

4.THE TELEVISION

Only 3 government channels are featured on the television. These channels are fully controlled by the government. No news or information from the outside world is shown on the television.

5.THE INTERNET

google

Google, Facebook, YouTube, etc are banned from the internet in North Korea. Only government websites are shown on the internet. If people try to open other websites they are tracked down and severely punished.

6.THE EDUCATION

 Only North Korean history is taught to the students. The students must pay for the benches as well as the school maintenance fees. Hence, the students are made to work for their school extra fees.

7.THE THREE GENERATION PUNISHMENT

If you commit a crime in North Korea your three generations are also entitled to the punishment. Thus, your karma results in punishment to the whole family.
